Its rapid growth and dense, branching structure make it a visually captivating and fast-spreading addition to your reef tank.

Hydnophora thrives under moderate to high lighting and prefers medium to strong water flow, which helps keep its polyps extended and its surface clean. Though it relies primarily on photosynthesis through its zooxanthellae, it will benefit from occasional feedings of plankton or coral foods to enhance its growth and coloration.

Known for its aggressive nature, Hydnophora can sting and damage nearby corals with its sweeper tentacles. Be sure to provide plenty of space to prevent it from harming neighboring species.
