Leptastrea are an easy to care for encrusting coral. Under higher light the blue on this strain tends pop even more. It's important to understand that for Leptastrea "high light" is a different level than the high light often discussed in reference to species like Acropora. Leptastrea can do well in low light (sub 50 PAR) but tend to color up better in what would be for them higher light conditions (100 PAR). They like higher flow and will slowly encrust over any structure you mount them on.

HUSBANDRY NOTES: LPS- We keep our corals under Dalua/Illumagic X4 LED lights with an intensity of approximately 150 PAR and feed regularly with Polyp Lab Reef Roids and BenePets.

Shown are the mother colony we frag from as well as close up (macro lens) pictures and a representation photo of a typical frag.  We aim to make each frag 1” in size and larger when possibly. Occasionally the frags might be a tad smaller than 1” but if you read our reviews, you will see that we typically surpass expectations.  Happy reefing!
