About this coral
They open up quite nicely too! They can have vacant polyps near the base of the coral; this is normal as the coral continues to grow, it does not affect coral health. During shipping, it is possible for the polyps to retract very deep into the skeleton. This is completely normal, however can be alarming when seeing just the skeleton upon arrival. They will open up with time once placed in your tank. Each Egg Crate Square behind it is .5x.5″ approximately.
