FIRE AND ICE Chalice Frag – AQUACULTURED (Blue Video Inside!)

The Fire and Ice Chalice is one of the best contrasting aquacultured corals in our hobby! It’s vibrant, glowing orange eyes pair perfectly with a dark purple body! As it grows outward, it begins to develop a striking, glittery aqua green, coloration in different spots around the Chalice. As well as around the rim, encasing those glowing eyes and stark contrast!

This Oxypora Chalice will encrust down onto the frag plug or rock work it is placed on, and then begin to plate outward. The Fire and Ice Chalice is well known for it’s coloration holding up to it’s name! Under blue lighting, it really stands out and is hard to miss! Chalice get the majority of their nutrients from their photosynthetic zooxanthellae, benefiting from low to moderate lighting and flow. However, occasional spot feeding of finer reef foods such as various supplemental powders, zooplankton, and phytoplankton will only help to propel its growth and coloration!
