They require moderate to high lighting to thrive, as they depend on the energy provided by symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae) within their tissues. Water flow should be moderate to strong to keep them healthy and allow their tentacles to move freely. While they can tolerate a range of water parameters, it is essential to maintain stable water quality.

Anemones are generally peaceful, though some species can exhibit semi-aggressive behavior if they feel threatened or crowded. They should be placed in a low-traffic area, where they have space to expand, but should be kept away from other corals or species that could be stung by their powerful nematocysts.
