TROPICANA Anacropora Frag – Aquacultured (Blue Video Inside!)

The Tropicana Anacropora has some beautiful coloration, and is one of our shop favorites for SPS! Anacropora are considered to be a hardy, excellent growing, and one of the more rare SPS corals you will find! The Tropicana Anacropora especially has a base of yellowish orange that only continues to deepen with time! You’ll find that its polyps contrast nicely as they are bright green! This Anacropora is best viewed under a multitude of spectrums, where it will stand out with its uniqueness! Anacropora are fast growing in the right conditions; high light and high flow similar to Acropora.

Like other Anacropora, Tropicana will branch upwards but do not encrust down well onto a base or rock work. Anacropora gain the majority of their nutrients through their correct tank placement and stable water parameters, but will benefit from the occasional spot feeding with supplement powders and finer foods such as zooplankton and phytoplankton. Tropicana Anacropora are not considered to be aggressive, and will only become irritated with accidental direct contact to another coral.

We take extreme care when shipping our corals to you, while rare, Anacropora can fall off the plug during a rough transit as they do not encrust well. Reef safe glue or putty can be used to to remount the coral to the frag plug or your rock work where it will be just fine. We do not issue credits or refunds for this, unless the coral has also unfortunately died.
