Considered to be one of the most classic and OG Chalice by reef keepers, its simple and vibrant coloration is easy to see why. A red base lights up, and contrasts excellently with its notorious, bright orange eyes! This Oxypora Chalice will encrust down onto the frag plug or rock work it is placed on, and then begin to plate outward. The Orange Eye Chalice is known for looking great, no matter what color spectrum it is viewed under!
Chalice get the majority of their nutrients from their photosynthetic zooxanthellae, benefiting from low to moderate lighting and flow. However, occasional spot feeding of finer reef foods such as various supplemental powders, zooplankton, and phytoplankton will only help to propel its growth and coloration! The Orange Eye Chalice is a hobby staple, and is a must have for any Chalice collector, or someone looking to add some instant color to their reef tank!
