The Ludicrous Chalice is one of the HOTTEST Aquacultured corals in our hobby! Widely considered to be one of the most highly desired Chalice by collector’s and reef keeper alike. Its intense and vibrant blend of colors are the reason for its popularity! A rainbow mix of green, orange, yellow and gold make up the center of this coral. With a bright red and pink rim, its coloration cannot be topped! This Oxypora Chalice will encrust down onto the frag plug or rock work it is placed on, and then begin to plate outward.

The Ludicrous Chalice is notorious for its vibrant glowing under intense blue lighting, standing out amongst the crowd! Chalice get the majority of their nutrients from their photosynthetic zooxanthellae, benefiting from low to moderate lighting and flow. However, occasional spot feeding of finer reef foods such as various supplemental powders, zooplankton, and phytoplankton will only help to propel its growth and coloration!
