Montipora Digitata thrives under moderate to high lighting and prefers medium to high water flow, which helps keep its polyps extended and its surface clean. While it relies primarily on photosynthesis through its symbiotic zooxanthellae, occasional feedings of small plankton or coral foods can encourage faster growth and improve coloration.
