You are buying from the exact colony in the photo — our Raptors Peace Favia, photographed under blue spectrum reef lighting. Electric green ridge crests wind over a deep royal-blue body, breaking into frosted lavender-white valleys — a color combination that looks lit from within under actinics. These are true frags grown out in our Key West systems, fully healed and encrusted — not chop-shop cuts.

About Favia brain corals

Favia is one of the classic reef-building brain corals — slow, steady, and nearly indestructible once settled. Its maze of ridges and valleys fluoresces intensely, and at night it extends feeder tentacles that make it one of the most rewarding corals to spot-feed. Favia like this one is far hardier than wild colonies and adapts quickly to home reef conditions.

Care Guide

An easy, forgiving LPS for any stable reef — ideal for both newer reefers and collectors.

• Lighting: Low to Medium — PAR 75–150. Diffused light keeps the greens electric without bleaching the blue base.
• Flow: Low to Moderate — enough to keep the surface clean, gentle enough for nighttime feeder tentacles.
• Placement: Lower to mid rockwork with space around it.
• Feeding: Medium — target feed meaty foods or pellets after lights-out for fastest growth.
• Aggression: Semi-aggressive — sends out sweeper tentacles at night; give neighbors a few inches.
• Water Parameters: Temp 76–78°F, salinity 1.025–1.026, Alk 8–9 dKH, Ca 420–440, Mg 1300–1400. Stability matters more than exact numbers.
