About this coral

This is a WYSIWYG Orange Ricordia collected by me in Key West FL baby! We are a full service saltwater aquarium shop in Key West with a strong focus on aqua-culture (FL Certificate #AQ0254072) we also collect local coral, fish and inverts. This coral is suitable for marine aquariums with an beginner difficulty level. The photos are taken with no filter using a Sony A 7 IV with a Sigma Macro Lens. The video file is shot under blue spectrum.

Corals can detach from the plug during shipping, this is normal as they get bounced around during shipping.

Corals should be acclimated to temp and then placed in quarantine. We do our absolute best to avoid any pests, we still suggest you dip all corals after they have been placed in a quarantine tank for a few days.

Our LPS tank runs at around 50-100 par, we suggest you place the coral in slightly lower lighting and then move up over the course of a week. This works for us and it will also work for you.

Care Guide
This anemone thrives under moderate to high lighting and moderate flow, and hosts well with clownfish once acclimated. Anemones are mobile and can move around the tank until they find a spot they like, so provide ample rockwork for them to settle into.

Placement: Sandbed near rockwork — needs a rock to anchor its foot into the sand.
