Pearl Bubble Coral

Pearl Bubble Coral is a fleshy LPS coral sold for its pale, inflated daytime vesicles and contrasting nighttime feeding tentacles.

The common name can refer to closely related bubble-coral genera, so this listing does not assign a species without confirmed provenance. The expanded tissue is delicate and can tear against sharp rock or under direct pump output. Give the coral a secure, smooth base and room for nighttime sweepers.

Care Guide

• Care Level: Intermediate
• Lighting: Low to moderate (50–100 PAR); acclimate gradually
• Flow: Low to moderate, gentle and indirect; the vesicles should inflate without being whipped
• Placement: Open sand bed or a secure, smooth lower-rock position
• Feeding: Photosynthetic; optional small meaty foods one to two times weekly after feeding tentacles appear
• Aggression: Aggressive; begin with at least 6 inches beyond the fully inflated tissue and check sweeper reach after dark
